12v Car Subwoofer Amplifier Circuit Diagram

Car Subwoofer Amplifier Circuit Diagram

Getting the perfect sound system for your car can be a challenging task, but it doesn't have to be. With the right tools and knowledge, you can create your own subwoofer amplifier circuit diagram for your car. A subwoofer amplifier is an electronic device that amplifies low-frequency signals to produce a powerful and clear sound. In this article, we will discuss the steps to create a 12v car subwoofer amplifier circuit diagram.

Components Needed

Car Amplifier Components

Before you start creating your 12v car subwoofer amplifier circuit diagram, you need to gather all the components you will need. These include:

  • 12v power supply
  • LM386 amplifier chip
  • 2x 10uF electrolytic capacitors
  • 1x 220uF electrolytic capacitor
  • 1x 0.1uF ceramic capacitor
  • 2x 10K Ohm resistors
  • 1x 100 Ohm resistor
  • 1x 10K Ohm variable resistor
  • 1x 3.5mm audio jack
  • 1x subwoofer speaker
  • Breadboard and jumper wires

Building the Circuit

Lm386 Amplifier Chip Circuit

Once you have all the components, it's time to start building the circuit. Follow these steps:

  1. Insert the LM386 amplifier chip into the breadboard.
  2. Connect pin 1 of the LM386 to the positive rail of the breadboard.
  3. Connect pin 2 of the LM386 to the negative rail of the breadboard.
  4. Insert the two 10uF electrolytic capacitors into the breadboard, connecting the positive pin of each capacitor to pin 1 and pin 8 of the LM386.
  5. Insert the 220uF electrolytic capacitor into the breadboard, connecting the positive pin to pin 5 of the LM386 and the negative pin to the negative rail of the breadboard.
  6. Insert the 0.1uF ceramic capacitor into the breadboard, connecting it between pin 5 and pin 8 of the LM386.
  7. Insert the two 10K Ohm resistors into the breadboard, connecting one between pin 3 and pin 6 of the LM386 and the other between pin 6 and the negative rail of the breadboard.
  8. Insert the 100 Ohm resistor into the breadboard, connecting it between pin 5 of the LM386 and the positive rail of the breadboard.
  9. Insert the 10K Ohm variable resistor into the breadboard, connecting one end to pin 2 of the LM386 and the other end to the negative rail of the breadboard.
  10. Insert the 3.5mm audio jack into the breadboard, connecting the left and right channels to pin 3 and pin 5 of the LM386, respectively.
  11. Connect the positive wire of the subwoofer speaker to pin 5 of the LM386 and the negative wire to the negative rail of the breadboard.
  12. Connect the 12v power supply to the positive and negative rails of the breadboard.

Testing the Circuit

Car Subwoofer Testing

Once you have completed building the circuit, it's time to test it. Follow these steps:

  1. Connect your audio source to the 3.5mm audio jack.
  2. Turn on your car and the power supply for the circuit.
  3. Play music on your audio source and adjust the volume
